Science has some bearing on religion as sometimes rational thinking seeks to explain and understand many components of religion. Faith could be challenged by Ancient descriptions of facts compared to Astronomical, Archeological, and Technological developments and knowledge. However many Religious Institutions have tried to broaden their understanding of Religion as it becomes better understood. Such as the Catholic Church use of the term “Devine Intervention” as it relates to explanation of the unexplained events in History.
